Liquitex Ceramic Stucco Gel is a thick, fine-textured gel can be applied with a palette knife to give artwork the surface finish of an Italian fresco. It dries to a light grey matte stucco finish and serves as a fantastic absorbent ground for washes and glazing. You can also paint over the dry surface with airbrush medium or draw on it with pastels or charcoal. How to Use –

Application - Apply the Ceramic Stucco Gel with a palette knife or brush, depending on the texture and effect you desire.

Tinting - Tint the gel with acrylic colour to create a coloured textured cement effect. Mix thoroughly to ensure even colour distribution.

Overpainting - Once the gel is dry, you can overpaint it with acrylic colour to add depth and detail to your artwork. The absorbent surface makes it ideal for washes and glazing techniques.

Absorbent Ground - To use as an absorbent ground, apply a thin layer of the gel to your surface and leave it to dry completely. This creates a perfect base for watercolour effects or colour washes.

Colour Washing - For colour washing, paint over the dry stucco surface with a mix of colour and Liquitex Airbrush Medium. This will give your work a beautiful, translucent wash of colour that enhances the texture beneath.
