Liquitex Professional Masking Fluid is a colourless, latex-based liquid is designed to temporarily block out areas of your artwork, allowing for sharp lines and defined effects in your fluid acrylic applications and washes. Perfect for artists who need to protect specific sections of their canvas, this masking fluid peels off easily to reveal a clean, untouched surface underneath. Ideal for artists who need to protect specific sections of their canvas for intricate designs. Useful for creating sharp lines and defined effects in fluid acrylic applications and washes.

  • Temporarily block out areas of work so you can create sharp lines and defined effects.
  • Covers areas of your surface to stop colour reaching it.
  • Peels off once colour dries to reveal a clean surface underneath.
  • Leaves no trace or stain once removed.
  • It’s easy to use. Paint onto the areas you want to protect, leave to dry, and then apply your acrylic colour or spray paint.

How to Use –

Preparation - Before dipping your applicator into the masking fluid, dip it in soapy water. This step will make cleaning easier later and prevent the fluid from sticking too much to your tools.

Application - Carefully paint the masking fluid onto the areas you want to protect. Allow it to dry completely before applying any colour. This will ensure the fluid forms a solid barrier that blocks the paint.

Cleaning Tools - After applying the masking fluid, wash your brushes and tools with warm soapy water immediately. This will prevent the fluid from drying on your tools and make cleanup much easier.

Painting - Once the masking fluid is dry, you can freely paint over the masked areas with your chosen acrylic colours or spray paints. The fluid will protect the underlying surface from any paint.

Removal - For best results, remove the masking fluid as soon as your paint is dry. Start at the corners and peel back slowly to avoid damaging your work. The fluid will come off cleanly, leaving a pristine surface underneath.

The Galeria Acrylics line consists of 60 magnificent colors in 60ml tubes and 500ml Jars making it ideal for art & design students, hobbyists, muralists, decorative painters and fine artists who work on a grand scale.

Although Galeria Acrylics are sometimes referred to as a fine grade acrylic, their high pigment levels deliver professional results with significantly better covering power than many similarly priced brands
